yeah I didn't like those albums but I can appreciate their pop integrity.
Which is the problem ..Aerosmith wasn't ever supposed to be a pop band.
They changed their product which is fine .
But I didn't like the new coke either .

well, Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get A Grip were 3 great albums in a row. between those three albums we got Rag Doll, Angel, Love In An Elevator, Janie's Got A Gun, Dude (Looks Like A Lady), Livin On The Edge, Eat The Rich, and many, many more. But they did have some crummy ones in there after this, like Done With Mirrors and Just Push Play

I think one of the worst things for the band was actually bringing in song writers because this album clearly shows how well they can write even with all the things that were going on with them at the time, because I like this a lot more than most of the newer songs
